Beacon Laundry is a not-for-profit social enterprise. This means we prioritize people and purpose over profit. When we have initiatives in the works for our team, often we’ll call for support – this could be dollars or time – to help bring these to life.
We welcome specialists in various fields to give their time to run sessions with our team – think big and broad! We welcome everyone from yoga instructors and mindfulness coaches to financial wellbeing educators and HR specialists. It’s all about giving our people the tools to live better lives. Beacon Scholarship Fund
Our people are at the core of everything we do. Many of our team members have faced significant barriers to stable employment, including limited access to the education, training, and resources needed for career advancement. Despite these challenges, they’re incredible people – with great resilience, commitment, and a desire to build a better future for themselves and their families.
To support their ambitions, we have established an Employee Scholarship Fund. This fund aims to provide financial assistance for the training, certifications, and licenses employees need to advance their careers after their time with us. Whether it’s gaining a commercial driver’s license, completing a trade certification, or accessing specialised training, this fund will open doors to sustainable career pathways.
