Bangalow, the home of Beacon.

Bangalow is the official home of Beacon Laundry. This social enterprise was built around a community need and a market opportunity, and today we’re thriving.

We officially opened our doors in April 2024, with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and local Federal MP Justine Elliot joining us to mark the special milestone.

Today we have 100 employees from a variety of backgrounds, and the laundry is humming.

Ali is an experienced psychotherapist who has spent over a decade supporting young people through trauma in custodial settings. She brings a deeply human, holistic approach to her role – we’re so grateful to have her onboard.
